A biography of poet, anarchist, Wobbly and pioneer of the Beat movement Kenneth Rexroth and analysis of his work by noted American situationist Ken Knabb. Rexroth lead a fascinating life that moved through bohemian milieus from the radical "hoboheimia" of 1910's Chicago, to the surrealist and dadaist scene of 1920's Paris, and the San Fransisco and Berkeley beat scene of the 1940's and 50's. His path crossed those of luminaries ranging from Alexander Berkman to Allen Ginsburg. This is well worth the read.
