Examines two different aspects of the anti-fascist fight: the struggle of the partisans in Reggio Emilia and the contribution of the Italian volunteers in Spain in 1937. Both essays share a common, tragic, subtext: the sacrificing of libertarian communist revolutionaries (and of the revolutions they fought for) by an "official" Communism dictated from Moscow. In a postscript on the recent trial of comrades in Italy, Greece, and Scotland, the continuity of anarchist resistance in Italy, and the need for international solidarity, is shown clearly.
