Details

The first (and only?) American docudrama to tell the story of this famous case. Shot on historic location the one person film tells the story from Vanzetti's point of view. From his arrival at Ellis Island, we trace his progression from immigrant worker to militant activist in the Anarchist movement, to his arrest, imprisonment, and how he became somewhat of an international celebrity for the cause. Howard Zinn liked it, and it's certainly historically (and politically) accurate. 57 minutes. The DVD includes, as an extra, an interview with Bob Detillo, the greatest surviving Sacco & Vanzetti scholar.
