Serious writer from the hood, rapper and anarcho-communist, of Urugyan roots, from the 93 district of Paris (see riots in France, every other week). Skalpel is a veteran of the militant rap scene, prolific writer of articles, books...and one of France's biggest characters in rap, previously of "La K-Bine" and now of "Premiere Ligne" he has helped put anarchist politics and rap in the french consciousness… This album is his fourth, and is of the highest quality—big dark beats with some old school soul sounds and a couple of rocking collaborations, one with Geraldine of french punk band Cartouche...and the album finishes with ZAPATA VIVE! with parisian ska/punk group Guarapita.
