Drowning Dog has teamed up with Malatesta (producer) for this new cd, Got No Time. This is the latest release from San Francisco anarchist record label Entartete Kunst.
While Drowning Dog takes center stage with her cutting rhymes about anarchism, capitalism, class, militarism, power, work and time itself, this collection is cut deep with sample collage and hip-hop rhythms (meticulously assembled from Malatesta's AK Press and Kate Sharpley Library inspired anarchist archive).
Drowning Dog is punk hip-hop - angry, sharp, on point and not afraid to address the world's most pressing issues head on. She raps about the reality of our working class lives, speaking about the world in in a way that many of us feel but are not able to express, partly because we feel economically insecure, isolated and we feel that we ain't 'Got No Time.'
