ITEM OVERVIEW
Updated and re-edited, here's 25 years of the full color photography of a man who helped define a generation. While there are 100s of skating, punk and hip-hop shots, there's also a wide range of other photos, from landscapes to anti-war demonstrations. Included too are the words of Ian Mackaye, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Ralph Nader, Cornel West and Ian Svenonius (all of whose pictures, of course, shot by Friedman, are included) on Idealism, together with a couple of essays on Friedman's work. A sumptuous, exquisite collection. The only problem really is that you'll have to upgrade your coffee table so its luxurious enough to hold such a defining work of art and beauty.
