Debut issue of an unabashedly feminist revolutionary zine, put together by a young unabashedly feminist editor. And well worth checking out it is too. Beyond the refreshing enthusiasm, you'll find in-depth interviews with the likes of Margaret Cho, Gloria Steinem, Alix Olson, teen activist Shelby Knox (fighting abstinence only education in TX), Pamela Means, Maria Raha (author of the wonderful Cinderella's Big Score on women in punk] and much more. Lots of Cristy Road artwork is a plus too.
Issue two picks up where the debut left off, with Peaches, a wonderful chat with Michelle Tea, Bitch, Mattilda aka Matt Bernstein Sycamore, and a whole lot more. Quite superb.
