John 'Jughead' Pierson was the co-founder of Screeching Weasel, and lead guitarist throughout its existence. He was also the de-facto tour manager, an accomplished actor, and playwright to boot. It's not surprising then that he's also an excellent writer, with a great sense of observation, a keen wit, and great ear for dialogue. This is his version of the history of Screeching Weasel, pop-punk, and the creation of a genre. It's as sweet and sharp as anything from Anthem For A New Tomorrow.
