Not only is Rovics a musical and lyrical genius, he's also pretty unstoppable. Constantly touring and, fortunately for those of us unable to catch up with him, constantly writing and recording. Of these 21 new songs on this disc, 18 were written after September 11th. And all are, of course, timely, relevant, timeless, and superb. Recorded live and in the studio, they are all enhanced by the incredible harmonies of Allie Rosenblatt. "Drink Of The Death Squads," "Jenin," "Ballad Of A Cluster Bomb," "Good Kurds Bad Kurds," "The Pirate Radio Song," "By The Time They Nuke DC," "Song For The ELF," and "We Are Everywhere" are some of the ballads, pointed reflections, and rousing anthems showcased here.
