ITEM OVERVIEW
Zerzan is back, yet his "radical tonic" is still hard to swallow. In this short collection of essays we find more musings on humankind's pre-"civilized" State, a continuing assessment of our impending ecological collapse, as well as a plea for the dismantling of technology and culture. For those tired of the "narrowness" of Chomsky's studies in foreign policy, we are offered a pluralist critique of modern society via Star Trek, PBS, and the countless failures of anarchists to properly address contemporary problems. Nothing new here, least not an articulate vision of how we shall actualize our glorious pre-historical status.
